Gülin Üstün, Producer

Gülin Üstün is graduated from American High School Izmir and from Bogazici University Department of English Language & Literature.

She started working as an assistant agency producer in Young & Rubicam, one of the leading advertising agencies in Turkey, in two years became the head of the department of production in the same agency. Until 2000 worked in selected agencies of the industry and established the production departments.

In 2000, she joined Atlantik Film where she worked as producer for TV commercials and general coordinator. She subsequently worked on project development, acquisition and sales distribution of the feature films Run For Money (2000), Mommy, I'm Scare (2004), Times and Winds (2006), Hayat Var (2009). Before she left Atlantik Film in February 2008 she was the associate producer of Hayat Var / My Only Sunshine by Reha Erdem.

Gülin Üstün is also giving international strategy and festivals consultancy service to Turkish Films.

The Shadowless by Umit Unal made its international premiere at Taormina Film Festival and has been reviewed in Variety by Alissa Simo.

Uzak Ihtimal / Wrong Rosary by Mahmut Fazil Coskun has been participating at major film festivals since its premiere at Rotterdam Film Festival and received awards.

Currently she is working also as the coordinator of Meetings On The Bridge Platfrom the industry section of Istanbul Film Festival.
